you've come with nothing, won nothing, and can leave with nothing or you can have the mob
That was what Bob Saget said to the last contestent last night on 1vs.100. Mz. Maggie and I watched it after a good pump of the iron.
We had this chili cook off at work where the management committee would cook chili and serve it up to whomever wanted to pay the 4 bucks. So there was 10 different kinds to taste and I got up to 9 bowls. I would have gone all the way to 10 but one of the servers ran out. No they weren't normal sized bowls they were these dinky lil sample cup size. And I tell ya, there was a whole buncha different tastes.
I've also been selling raffle tix at work. All in support of the United Way. Actually I've been doing alot for the united way this week. Raffle tix, counting coins (there's a coin competition going on as to which floor can raise the most by putting coins into these great big tubes that stand in the elevator lobby), helping out with a bake sale this last friday, collecting items for baskets that will be auctioned off (thx mz. maggie for donating that one that's been sitting and collecting dust and looking so pretty), and then I went to this luncheon thingy at the Westin and got these stress balls...he he balls.... this is what he looks like:

So I've been boxing up old correspondence and I've been very excited cause I found a piece of paper that was dated for Jan 1914. OMG! like OMG! its one of those thingys that should be in a museum but its not and I can touch it. Wow! I sat there staring at it for a while and then asked my supervisor about those particular files and then told her about it, well it turns out that she's gonna try to get me to take a trip to the Archives and look at some older correspondence.
Mz. Maggie: you'll be happy to know that I just bought lock de-icer today. I couldn't find it when I went to crappy tire but I got someone to help me and he couldn't even find it and then I spotted it. Well, needless to say, I bought it and placed it in a ziploc baggie in my purse so that if my locks freeze again on me that i can douse my lock with it.
Tentative details about my bday: Dec. 12 dinner at montanna's then a movie if time permits.
Um, I think that's about it for now.
