Happy Go Lucky

Well I must say that after the last two days of being all happy and giddy (from nothing at all, no i didn't smoke or inhale anything) that I am drained and tired. I must admit that I am still in a happy mood though. I know the tiredness is my own fault from going to bed waaaayyyyyy past my own bed time (Yes, I gave myself a bed time so that I wouldn't fall asleep anymore at work). But yesterday's get together was awesome. I was sorry to hear that Mz. Mandi couldn't come because of an accident. I ordered an 8oz. steak and got a 10oz. instead (paid for an 8oz. one)cause it was the cook's fault. Awesome deal. Thanx for supper Mr. Mattie and Mz. Maggie. Then off to the movies. I had really really wanted to see Happy Feet, but it wasn't what I was expecting. Overall, the movie was good. But storyline wise, it sucked. So then off to Mz. Maggie's place for a gift x-change. Awesome presents guys. Even the ones that weren't mine they were all awsome. I honestly wasn't expecting that stereo I got. I knew the big box was gonna be for me but I honestly didn't think that Mr. Mattie and Mr. Allan pitched together to get it for me. Thanx. The scarf that Mz. Maggie has wonderfully crafted for me is being worn everywhere I go. I've worn it at work and got plenty of compliments.

One of my puppies (chew--the brown one) went in for surgery last week thurs (?) or so to repair some torn ligaments or something and then had a neon green soft cast up until yesterday. He was taken into the doctor and had his cast taken off. He's still got the stiches. Both of my puppies are inspecting it every once in a while and licking it and stuff like that. He is getting better but he's not allowed to play with toys or run around and stuff.

About two days ago I started a new project. I was doing stars on one of the raffle tix selling days and the other lady that was there with me suggested that I somehow put them onto a string and make a bracelet or something with it. So I pulled out the invisible thread from my drawer at work and started doing it. This is my first one that I did. I gave this one away to the lady who gave me the idea to do it and she hung it on her door. (Her office is just down the hallway from me so it was easy to just walk over to her office). It looks so cool. It doesn't even look like they're suspended on the invisible thread.

Last friday the office had our xmas lunch. We went to a place called Courtyard Marriott (it apparently used to be called Thornton Court) its located right beside the Shaw Conference Center. It overlooks the North Sask River. I ended up having the buffet and stuffing myself. I wasn't too fond of the food but it was something to eat and I wasn't complaining. It was nice to get outta the office for an hr and a half. Then we came back and started decorating the office. and the executive director and the FOIP (freedom of information and privacy) coordinator decided to go out and get more munchies for us whilst decorating.

Sunday, my mom decides lets go to brunch. So, with my two brothers and mom we go to a place called Bonanza. Its located right in between the dollarama and superstore on 127 street. So we get there and omg! another buffet. I end up pigging out there too and stuff myself there too. So if anyone is up for more food at any point in time, I'm suggesting that we go over there.
