I'm a kind hearted, patient woman. I'm easy to get along with and can get bitchy if you push the right buttons (or if I forget to take the right pills when I get up in the morning).

Well its the end of the week at both of my new jobs. All I can say is that I'm lovin my filing job with Municipal Affairs (AB Gov't). This was a slow week but I enjoyed every bit of it. I got settled into my office but I still need to decorate, its kinda bare in here (yes i'm at work right now) so I get to stare at blank walls and any other lil fixtures that happen to come with the office. (mz. cupcake we have to go shopping again!) Seeing how bored I get, I ended up taking 1/2 hr to hr long naps (and I didn't even get caught--not yet at least) and still manage to get everything done by the end of the day. I just got out of a staff mtg and they brought cake (it had welcome on it and it was very chocolaty) and gummy worms just to welcome the two of us summer students (eventhough i'm not a student anymore i'm just a summer/temp person). Oh and if any of you would like my direct line it is 644-4627.

Now as for the Census job (Federal Gov't) its kinda the same with sev except i'm dealing with them over the phone. ARG! meh, they're payin me 11.88 an hr to answer phones and I only work from 5pm-10pm (whenever they schedule me btwn sunday and saturday). I get irate customers and awesome customers. I've had many calls from all across the country asking all types of questions. Now I would give examples but because I've taken an oath of secrecy and am bound by the Statistics act I cannot give any information (or else I lose my job and get a warm hard bed in prision)....sorry kiddies!

And the best part both of these jobs are in downtown e-town so I only have to walk like 2-5 blocks and boom I'm there!

So after i'm done I think i'll start looking for a job with the government. I'm enjoying it (in both the provincial and federal gov't). With my own office and no one to tend to (aka grouchy customers or any customers for that matter) I go home at the end of the day happy and refreshed. I'm not bitchy, grouchy, or unhappy. But then again I may have another job lined up at the end of the summer. Mommy in law and poppy in law work with some sorta native thingy in town and I may get hired on as an assistant making 30 some odd thousand per year (yes poppy in law offered me a position in payroll or something like that in Winnepeg for 50,000.00 a year but that didn't go according to plan--with them moving their head office to Winnepeg).

Anyways, I have to get back to the filing room and finish inventory before I leave at the end of the day (or as much as I can get done).
