No sugar for me or my mobile device =(

Stupid Rodgers....after waiting patiently for two weeks after I placed an order for my celly batt, I get impatient and email them asking wtf is goin on, I get a response this morning telling me that they've discontinued the item and that my visa will be credited back. OMFG! I have enough patience for lots of things but when I'm not informed of things like this earlier...ARG! So now onto ebay I go to find a celly batt. I've found a couple of batt's and they look similar to the one that's currently in my phone and it's only a dollar (1.11 canadian .99 US) for it, 7.00 for shipping from hong kong. It says its brand new but i dunno, we'll see i guess. So another 7-14 days of waiting.......

System of a Down Concert...YAY! Thanks mr. muffin, it was awsome! I didn't know many songs they played but I had a blast. For those of you that didn't attend here are some details. I'm not down with the whole lite/heavy metal scene but some songs do get my attention. I wasn't too fond of the opening bands. Hatebreed (and some other band I forgot the name to) opened for them. But Hate breed did a nice job of their own songs, plus they weren't dressed all punk rock/gothy style, just shorts and t-shirts. When they came on stage, everyone had their lighters and cell phones in the air, it looked like lil bitty stars (hehehe). One of System's members (mr. muffin, i'm sorry I don't know the names of the band members, i'm sure i could google it but its too much effort) decided to jump into the floor crowd. It was awesome to watch security get him and put him back on stage. The floor crowd was crazy, lemme just say that i'll never get floor tix for any concert. I would have been crushed by all the crazy's on System's floor. I tried taking pix but they got blurred out just cause I moved (I think it was me but i'm not too sure cause the band moved around quite a bit too). I waited and waited and waited and I couldn't wait anymore so, by the end of the concert I had to use the lil ladies room, and when I returned, I got shit for missing one of my fav songs (Sugar) OMG! Meh I had a good time and that's all that matters.

Work is worktastic! I've been given more work to do. I'm now working in three different places (not three jobs, just one job in three different areas)...where you might ask? My office is one, the Deputy Minister's office is two (its on the same floor as my office, its just on the other side of the floor), and on the 16th floor (i'm on 18) working with the Safety Code Council's files. YAY! Oh, and in my spare time during work, I like to play yahoo's games or solitare on the comp. Oh, and with the Peadways downtown....I like to go shopping at Winners during my Lunch (only if I go out).

Pop's wife's daughter came into town and we ended up babysitting their grandaughter (my niece) this past week or so while my niece's parents went to the indie thingy in Montreal. She's 5 so all week, "auntie can I come downstairs" "auntie can I have this/that" "this is pretty can I have it" "are you staying home today auntie" "can I help you do this auntie" "can you colour with me auntie"....well, she's a cutie but I never had a moment to myself. So now she's gone and I can sit down and watch my soapies and shit.

I think that pretty much wraps things up for the time being.
